Simply Kendricks

The Central Valley is known for its heat in September. So we headed up the mountains Labor Day weekend for a change of scenery and a reprieve from the heat. The Sierra National Forest did not disappoint. We definitely were not expecting the rain and thunderstorms. It was jacket weather and a breath of fresh air. It was lovely! If you need a break, head to Shaver Lake for the beautiful views and cool weather.
